My Skincare Picks

One of my friends as me recently what was my current skincare routine (key word being current). While I have some standalone products that have always been repeat purchases, I am not as loyal when it comes to skincare products. The main reason for this is that my skin changes from season to season. Typically winter is very dry but here in San Diego the lack of humidity has also taken its toll on my skin. While humidity isn’t fun for many reasons, it does wonders for my hair and skin. In an effort to adapt to the very desert-like conditions, I have switched up my routine a bit. Check out some fav-y products I’ve added into my new rotation!

Ren Micro Polish Cleanser:
A foaming mouse that cleanses and exfoliates. Perfect for the time you need a bit more scrub than a cleanser but don’t want to do a full blow peel. I use this product at least four times a week.

Murad Anti-Aging Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20:
A nice, light moisturizer that comes complete with SPF 20. It is the perfect fix to dry, acne-prone skin.

Clarisonic Mia2:
I bought this gadget about two years ago and it is still a staple in my skincare routine. It’s rechargeable, light and comes with a travel case. You can easily swap out the brushes for different skin types. I use the acne-prone brush and I got the sensitive skin head for Paul. We both us this champ multiple times a week!

GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment:
Ok so this product is a bit on the pricey size, especially given its size, but it is one of the best masks I have ever used!!! When my skin is acting up this is the first thing I grab for immediate results. My skin is smoother, clearer and a bit glow-y. I have used all the editions but supermud is by far my favorite. If you do nothing else, got to Sephora and get a sample!

Caudalie Grape Water:
So this little number is always in my purse on tropical getaways, extra hot days and traveling days. It is definitely a key part of my skincare routine while flying coast-to-coast. It’s refreshing, doesn’t upset your makeup, and smells lovely. What more could you ask for?!?!
